Looking at Me
What do you see when you look at me? Do you see a small, quiet girl who would rather read then talk? Or do you see a talkative girl who won’t shut-up half the time.
Maybe when you look at me you see an ordinary plain-Jane who blends in more than they should like she’s invisible; even when she’s right there.
What do you see when I’m in front of you talking? Someone who doesn’t stand out of the crowd or someone who stands out too much? An over-achiever who won’t settle for less than an A? You might even see a rebel who could care less about school and grades. If you look harder you may see a girl trying to break free the world know as
High School, run around, and be careless about anything and everything.
But what do I see when I look in the mirror? None of the things you might see. I see an actress, who can do anything you throw at her. I see a beautiful girl with pretty eyes, great hair, and a perfect smile. I see someone who is not afraid to stand-up for she believes in; whatever that maybe. A girl who doesn’t care what people think about her and who wears what she wants no matter what people say.
What do I see? I see a friend; loyal, kind, outgoing, always there for you when you need it, trustworthy enough for them to keep your secrets and know their not going to tell anyone else. You can look at me and see whatever you want, but when I look in the mirror, I will only see me.
