Dear Elizabeth,
The University is building a new addition to the school and the need for steel has gone up. William has been working night and day in the steel mills and I barely see him anymore. Even though he constantly works we barely have enough money to make ends meet.

Your Sister,

Katherine

I took a class at a writing workshop that I am attending and we learned about Flash or Micro Fiction. The goal of flash fiction is to tell a story in as few words a possible and evoke a unique emotion. This story is inspired by a post card that we picked and were to write a story about.
