Author's note:

I thought I was going to die......

My mom, sister India, my bestfriend Zhaikeria,my babaysitter's son Jessy and I all went to the park and then we played in the splash pad. We played in the splash pad for a while and then we played pn the different park equipment. I got on the sea saw with Zhaikeria and I wanted to get down. As I fell fowards I felt the stench of fear on me.BANG!!! Then as I tried to get up I hit my head again. Everyone was laughing til the next day....

The next day ,  my mom had to go to work so it turns out that I had to go to my granny's. All that day I knew something was wrong I just couldn't put my finger on it because my head was pounding so loudly. I went out in what felt like 1,000 degree heat andd went into my mom's car and c;osed the door. All can remeber is how hot it was and hw my mom had to literally drag me out of the carinside the house. She kept asking me if I was okay and I knew something was off but I still couldn't put my finger on it. My mom called my pediatrican and they told my mom to go to the Houston Healthcare Hospital. And so we went....

We went to the Houston Healthcare Emergency room and they gave me a room along with a C.A.T scan and a I.V. By then my sister Alexis, her mom Melissa and my granny came . Then the doctors came... My mom's mouth dropped open when she heared what they had to say.''Mam' I'm sorry to imform you but your daughter, Jeaneva had a cyst on the left side on her brain. She needs to be transported to the Scottish Rite Childern's Hopsital of Atlanta. The abulance that will be taking you will leave in abiut 10 minutes and you can go get some of your stuff from your house because I will be a week or longer,'' annonced Dr. Pattell.

My mom got our stuff and we forgot about things like soap, wash chlothes, deodrant. All things we could get from the hospital. But please tell me why my mom left her bood pressure pills at our house. She was under a lot of stress I guess. After that we loaded up and took of from the hospital. Next stop,is the Scottish Rite Childern's Hospital of Altanta. All aboard (train whistles)!!!

We got in the abulance and it took about 2 hours and 30 minutes because my mom had to go to the bathroom. I kept asking the nurse in the back of the abulance with me questions. Stuff about his kids, his wife, and even about his pet dog Fesco, anything because I was terrified, I was trying to calm myself down. But finally we were there. I got there and I finally got up and got out of the granny night gown that the hospital gave me . I felt scared and excited at the same time, because at the time I was about 11 at the time. They had me ocneected to a machine that would go off every 5 seconds . I tsounded like a screaching siren. I was about to murder the machine.

I finally went to sleep when my ssiter Alexis and my granny came and they prayed over me and told me I need some sleep, so I did. As soon as I closed my eyes I fell asleep. I had a dream . I was in the hopspital , all alone, no nurses or docotrs, no one one but me . Then I walk further dwn the hallway and take a left and then I see my grandma Jackie . She said '' It will be okay Jeaneva, come with me'', and then I walked with her . We went to the cafeteria and Jesus took her to heaven and I woke up. 2 months later she died.

Niw I walk through life and look at it differently . What happened to me, what has been happening to me , it changed me . It changed the way I look at people, friends, sometimes even family . Falling off that sea saw , my dream , my grandma dying , it was all meant to happen. Not saying that I believe in fate or meant to be ut somethings , shoot even some people are meant ot be . Now I think, what is life going to throw at me next.
